According to investigations from Operation Turbulence, launched on the 22nd by the Federal Police, the scheme allegedly involved around R$ 600 million. Part of the funds were allegedly diverted from public works, such as the São Francisco River Transposition project.

In the murder room, the Civil Police collected blister packs of various medications, as well as three cell phones, seven pen drives, several pairs of eyeglasses and sunglasses, three brown leather wallets, three blank checks - two from Banco do Brasil and one from Bradesco -, in addition to 53 empty envelopes for Banco do Brasil deposits, R$ 3 in cash, R$ 4,95 in coins, and a Spider-Man doll. The material found at the scene was sent to the Federal Police.
