247 – In addition to the Cessna Citation 560 XLS jet, in which he died in Santos, presidential candidate Eduardo Campos (PSB) used a second plane during the campaign. In May, during a visit to Bahia, he used a Learjet 45, registration PP-ASV.

The aircraft is registered with ANAC (Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency) under the name of Bandeirantes, based in Pernambuco, which belongs to Apolo Santana Vieira. He is one of three businessmen being investigated by the Federal Police as a suspected front man in the leasing of the Cessna jet.

The PR-AF is registered to Cessna Finance Export Corporation, but was operated by the Andrade group, from the sugar and ethanol sector in Ribeirão Preto (SP). It was put up for sale for approximately US$7 million.

Businessman João Carlos Pessoa de Melo signed a purchase agreement for the aircraft. At the same time, Bandeirantes Companhia de Pneus assumed the leasing agreement. However, the Andrade group is under judicial reorganization and could only be sold with judicial authorization.
