Campos walks around as an unknown in São Paulo.

With a team of fewer than 50 people, including fellow party members and activists from the PSB (Brazilian Socialist Party), presidential candidate Eduardo Campos toured the shopping centers of Taboão da Serra, Embu das Artes, and Itapecerica da Serra, almost unnoticed; he was even mistaken for former São Paulo mayor Gilberto Kassab (PSD) and called "Aécio Campos," due to voter confusion with the name of the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) candidate Aécio Neves.

247 – Socialist presidential candidate Eduardo Campos, third in the polls with 8% of voting intentions according to Datafolha, went almost unnoticed during his walk through three cities in the São Paulo metropolitan area this Friday.

With a team of fewer than 50 people, including fellow party members and activists from the PSB, he toured the shopping centers of Taboão da Serra, Embu das Artes, and Itapecerica da Serra, almost as an unknown figure.

The former governor of Pernambuco was even mistaken for the former mayor of São Paulo, Gilberto Kassab (PSD), by a young man. Another gentleman called him "Aécio Campos," confusing him with the name of the PSDB presidential candidate Aécio Neves. "He's the governor of my state," explained a shop assistant. "He's a presidential candidate," she added.
