Camilo says that Raio will arrive in Maracanaú and Caucaia later this month.
In an interview given this Tuesday (12), Governor Camilo Santana (PT) announced that the municipalities of Maracanaú and Caucaia will receive Raio teams on the 23rd and 30th of this month, respectively, and that Fortaleza will have 18 more units of the battalion in October. The head of the State Executive also said that he has been talking with Senators Tasso Jereissati (PSDB) and Eunício Oliveira (PMDB) with the aim of speeding up the authorization from Congress so that Ceará can contract international loans.
Ceará 247 - Governor Camilo Santana (PT) announced that the expansion of Raio teams to the municipalities of Maracanaú and Caucaia, in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, will take place on the 23rd and 30th, respectively. In an interview with the newspaper Alerta Geral (FM 104.3), this Tuesday (12), the head of the State Executive said that Caucaia will receive 113 police officers, 44 motorcycles and two cars, while Maracanaú will benefit from 56 police officers, 24 motorcycles and two patrol cars.
Camilo also said that Fortaleza will receive 18 more battalion teams in October, and all municipalities with more than 50 inhabitants will have their own teams by the end of 2018.
Loans
In the interview, the governor also appealed to the Federal Government to authorize the state to contract international loans. According to him, Ceará is the state with the best financial and fiscal performance. Therefore, it has a good debt capacity and is qualified to receive foreign resources.
Camilo said he has been talking with Senators Tasso Jereissati (PSDB) and Eunício Oliveira (PMDB) about the need for this release of funds, arguing that the state has been punished by the Union's delay in authorizing the loans.
