In the Serpes/O Popular poll released this Sunday, federal deputy Ronaldo Caiado (DEM) remains the leader in the race for the Senate seat, with 33,2%; he has a wide advantage over second-placed Marina Sant'Anna (PT), who has 11,9%; Vilmar Rocha is third with 9,5%.
Goiás247 - In the Serpes/O Popular poll released this Sunday, federal deputy Ronaldo Caiado (DEM) remains the leader in the race for the Senate seat. Caiado obtained 33,2% and has a wide advantage over second-placed Marina Sant'Anna (PT), who has 11,9%.
Candidate Vilmar Rocha (PSD), from the government's base, is in third place, with 9,5% of voting intentions.
Federal prosecutor Aguimar Jesuíno (PSB) and PCB candidate Antonio Vieira Neto each have 1,1%. Elber Sampaio (PSOL) has 0,7% and Aldo Muro (PSDC) has 0,4%.
The percentage of undecided voters is 31%. Another 9,1% said they will spoil their ballot, and 2% responded.
At the beginning of July, Caiado's lead over the second-place candidate was 19 points. This increased to 22,5 points in the first half of August and is now at 21,3 points.
Caiado is running on the ticket with Iris Rezende (PMDB), who is second in the Serpes poll for governor.
