O JOGO
Brazil started the match with ample territorial dominance. With three shots on goal in less than 10 minutes and over 70% possession, the Brazilian team controlled the game from the opening whistle, and a goal seemed inevitable. In the 14th minute, Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring. Exploiting his speed, the number 22 player bypassed his marker and unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box, making it 1-0. Playing with seriousness and simplicity, Brazil continued to press and scored their second goal in the 28th minute, again through Coutinho. This time, the Liverpool midfielder showed opportunism and, inside the six-yard box, finished off a play by Daniel Alves and Jonas on the right wing, making it 2-0. In the 34th minute, the right-back capitalized on a poor clearance from the goalkeeper and delivered a perfect cross for Renato Augusto. Alone between the defenders, the number 18 headed the ball with skill, making it 3-0. In Haiti's most dangerous attack, at 41 minutes, Alisson made a good save, catching Jeff Luis's cross-shot.
Without relaxing, Brazil maintained the pace after the break and threatened early on, in the 3rd minute, with a cross-shot from Willian. Just like in the first half, it didn't take long for Brazil to score again. In the 13th minute, Gabriel, who had come on for Jonas, received a through pass from Elias and finished with a low shot across goal to make it 4-0. Also coming off the bench, replacing Casemiro, Lucas Lima got his goal. In the 22nd minute, the number 10 took advantage of a cross from Daniel Alves to head in the second goal, making it 5-0. Two minutes later, on a fast break, Haiti pulled one back through Marcelin. Maintaining their offensive posture, the Seleção extended their lead in the 41st minute with another goal from Renato Augusto. The midfielder broke into the area and skillfully slotted the ball low into the left corner of goalkeeper Placide's net, making it 6-1. To complete the rout, Coutinho capped off a strong individual and team performance, scoring his third goal and Brazil's seventh. Final score: 7-1.
