Beberibe receives letters of credit for water supply systems.
Governor Camilo Santana (PT) will be in the municipality of Beberibe, this Wednesday (22), where he will deliver two credit letters for the implementation of supply systems. The action, which is part of the São José III project, will benefit 119 families.
Governor Camilo Santana will deliver this Wednesday (22) two letters of credit for the implementation of two water supply systems in Beberibe, east coast of the State. The ceremony will take place at 19:30 pm, at Praça da Matriz, in the city center.
This action is part of the São José III Project and will benefit 119 families, 71 from the Alto Alegre do Davi Community and 45 from the Sussuarana Community. The total investment is R$ 805.865,60.
São José III Project
The São José Project focuses on strengthening family farming and the well-being of rural communities. The aim is to increase economic inclusion and value-added services for family-run rural businesses, through the financing of productive projects within promising supply chains, with a view to strengthening these chains and promoting the sustainable integration of family farming.
Actions taken by São José III in 2015 and 2016
In 2015 and 2016, São José III delivered 434 water supply systems and 212 sanitation modules, benefiting 59.406 families, with resources amounting to R$ 194.350.830,56.
In addition, 15 water reuse systems were installed in three communities, benefiting 15 families, with a total investment of R$ 321.000,00.
The productive projects and technical assistance initiatives benefited 1.619 families in 40 communities, encompassing 33 cities in Ceará. In this initiative, the investment, originating from the State Government and the World Bank, totaled R$ 12.479.019,25. For 2016, investments in 172 new water supply systems are also planned through the São José III project.
