According to the concessionaire that manages this terminal, the aircraft is parked on the tarmac and there is no impact on other departure or arrival operations.

There are also no restrictions on landings and takeoffs at Congonhas airport, in the south of the city, where yesterday (22) a fire broke out in one of the turbines of the Latam Airbus A320, shortly after takeoff, at 18:48 pm. The aircraft was headed to Confins, in Belo Horizonte, with 134 passengers and six crew members. The flight had to be interrupted and there were no injuries.

According to Latam, the takeoff was initially scheduled for 17:40 PM, but had to be postponed due to the terminal's closure as a result of the hailstorm in the late afternoon.
