Ceará 247 - Accessibility to sidewalks on public roads and their relationship with cycle paths in Fortaleza will be the subject of a public hearing that will take place this Wednesday (22), at 14 pm, in the Adermar Arruda Auditorium, at the Fortaleza City Council.

With the aim of discussing the conditions of access and mobility for people with disabilities, mobility difficulties due to age, or special needs, the debate is an initiative of councilwoman Cristhina Brasil (PTdoB). According to the councilwoman, the hearing initiative met the demand of the Higher School of Tax Studies and Research (ESET), linked to the Association of Tax Auditors of the State of Ceará (AUDITECE). The entity develops social responsibility work and is promoting the campaign: “We ask for sidewalks, not obstacles. A social mobilization initiative in the fight for accessible sidewalks”.

The official launch of the Campaign will take place on April 23rd at 16 PM on Avenida Beira Mar, in an event marking the 1st State Public Policy Conference of ESET. A march will be held on that occasion, with the participation of organizations and the public.
