Tocantins 247 - The candidate for governor of the state from the "Reage Tocantins" Coalition, Senator Ataídes Oliveira (PROS), concluded another week of campaigning in the interior of the state this Saturday, the 9th. Today, Ataídes Oliveira, accompanied by the candidate for vice-governor, Cinthia Ribeiro (PTN), and the candidate for senator, State Representative Sergeant Aragão (PROS), was in the city of Paraíso do Tocantins for another direct contact with the citizens.

In conversations with residents, Ataídes Oliveira once again felt firsthand the people's disillusionment with Tocantins politics. Shopkeeper Fábio Mota said that everyone is disillusioned. "I think voters today don't even feel hopeful about the candidates. Each proposal needs to be carefully studied to see if there's at least something that satisfies them," he lamented.

Hearing other similar testimonies, Senator Ataídes acknowledged that a break with the current political system is necessary. "If we lose hope and think there's no way out, things will get worse. We are to blame for what's happening now. I want to help be part of this transformation," the senator affirmed.

Ataídes will resume his schedule of commitments next Monday, the 11th, when he will visit the southern region of the state, the city of Gurupi.
