Man who murdered his own family is captured by the Military Police.

Sergipe 247 - The Military Police of Sergipe arrested this Wednesday morning (5), in Aracaju, Marcos André Andrade Santos (32), who murdered his wife, Vanessa Sobral, 32, and her two children, Osvaldo Pereira Júnior (9) and Thiago Sobral Valença (15 years old) last weekend. An anonymous tip to the 190 emergency number led to the arrest of the murderer, who was inside a bus. He attempted to flee through the window but was stopped by police officers who had surrounded the vehicle. During the arrest, he gave the police a false name. Marcos André confessed to the crime, stating that he committed such an atrocity because he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The crime was allegedly motivated by jealousy and a suspicion of infidelity.

"I was out of my mind. I'm aware that I'm a monster. I don't remember much of what happened, but I know I had consumed excessive amounts of substances, and I lost control. I started an argument with Vanessa and was consumed by rage. I grabbed a knife that was in the kitchen and committed this whole tragedy," he recounted. He denies, however, the attempted sexual abuse of a teenager who was also in the residence at the time of the crime. "I didn't rape her. I am fully aware that I didn't. I remember leaving the house distraught and never returning. I only ask God to free my soul," he said.

Thiago's father, Eronilton Santos, and the young man's uncle, Helício Pereira, went to the headquarters of the Motorcycle Tactical Group in the South Zone to accompany the suspect's statement. Visibly nervous, Helício gave a heartfelt speech and praised the police's efforts. "He deserves to die, he's a monster who shouldn't live in society. He couldn't have done what he did, taking the lives of my nephews, Thiago so young, a good boy who only knew how to stay home and enjoy his passion, which was the singer Rihanna. Osvaldo, so small, a child, who didn't deserve any mercy. He destroyed our family, he devastated everyone. Thank God the police managed to get their hands on this horrible being."

Eronilton Santos, on the other hand, said he was relieved by the arrest and preferred not to go into details about the offer made by the singer Rihanna. "Let's resolve this here first. I want to follow everything closely to make sure justice is done. I need to hear from him what motivated him to commit this barbaric crime. I prefer to stick to that and later I can talk about the tribute I requested and the singer said she will make to my son. She had also offered financial help, but I don't think it's necessary. Even so, her producer, who has been in contact with me, has been insisting quite a bit, but it's not the time to talk about that," he emphasized.
