In an official statement released this Wednesday (21), the party states that it is withdrawing from the presidency of Procempa “until all investigations at the public company are completed”. The announcement was reportedly communicated to Mayor José Fortunati (PDT) by the party president himself in Porto Alegre, Maurício Dziedricki.
Also this afternoon, news broke of the investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office into the alleged embezzlement of nearly R$ 500 from the company for the 2012 election campaign in the city.
