Marconi Perillo's Fiat Elba appeared.

This time, it's not a car, but a journalist named Luiz Carlos Bordoni who participated in the governor's campaign and claims to have received funds from the Cachoeira scheme to work on the gubernatorial race, through a shell company called Alberto & Pantoja; and now?

Goiás 247 – Twenty years ago, during the impeachment crisis of former President Collor, the definitive proof was a simple Fiat Elba. The car had been paid for with funds from the slush fund of the PC Farias campaign scheme. This time, in the crisis affecting the governor of Goiás, Marconi Perillo, the Fiat Elba is a journalist.

His name is Luiz Carlos Bordoni, and he is at the center of the controversy involving the governor of Goiás, Marconi Perillo (PSDB), and the illegal gambling operator Carlinhos Cachoeira. He is the witness who proves the connection between the two, a connection that has its fingerprints on the 2010 election campaign, when the politician was elected for his third term as governor of the state.

A report in the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo features an exclusive interview by reporter Fernando Gallo with Bordoni, in which he directly states that he received payment for services rendered to Marconi's campaign from Alberto e Pantoja, a shell company that, according to the Federal Police, was controlled by Cachoeira. The payment, of R$ 45 – corresponding to half the bill – was made by one of the governor's main advisors, Lúcio Fiúza Gouthier, after a six-month delay.

"Mr. Lúcio Gouthier called me asking for my account number to deposit this money. I told him I was traveling, and that my daughter, who pays my bills and manages my affairs, would receive it. I gave him her account number. Suddenly, that account was transferred to Pantoja," Bordoni told Estado. "The money was deposited by Pantoja into my daughter's account. It was a campaign debt of Governor Marconi Perillo, the R$ 90 balance from the work I did for him on the radio program during the 2010 campaign."

Just to remind you: Lúcio Gouthier Fiúza is the advisor to Marconi Perillo who signed a document stating he received R$ 1,4 million for the governor's house, which was allegedly sold to Carlinhos Cachoeira. He is also suspected of having received R$ 500, which was allegedly sent by Cachoeira's right-hand man, Wladimir Garcêz, to the Palácio das Esmeraldas, the seat of the Goiás state government, in a computer case.

Also to the State, Marconi's press office denied having made the payments through the company. Luiz Carlos Bordoni says he decided to reveal the case after questioning in the CPI directed at his daughter, Bruna Bordoni. It was into her account that part of the campaign debt to the journalist, responsible for the radio programs, ended up being deposited. "I provided the service honestly. I'm not going to let anyone tarnish my credibility because of Cachoeira," he says.
