Proinveste is gradually progressing through the Alese (Legislative Assembly of Sergipe): it was approved by the CCJ (Committee on Constitution and Justice) this Wednesday.

 The committee was chaired by state representative Augusto Bezerra (DEM). The head representative, Venâncio Fonseca (PP), is in Brasília (DF); the project is being processed in the Assembly with two separate proposals, one for R$ 138,5 million, requesting credit from BNDES. The second proposal is for R$ 428 million from Caixa Econômica Federal (Caixa); now the project will be analyzed by the other committees; the government intends to apply the resources to more than 30 structural works.

Alese News Agency - The deputies who are part of the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) of the Legislative Assembly approved this Wednesday (24), the projects that request the opening of credit in the amount of R$ 567 million with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and Caixa Econômica Federal. The proposal was processed last year and ended up being rejected in plenary. The committee was chaired by state deputy Augusto Bezerra (DEM). The head, deputy Venâncio Fonseca (PP), is in Brasília (DF).

The project is being processed in the Assembly with two separate proposals, one for R$ 138,5 million, with a request for credit from BNDES (Brazilian Development Bank). The second proposal is for R$ 428 million from Caixa Econômica Federal (Caixa). Now the project will be analyzed by the other committees. The government intends to apply the resources to more than 30 structural works that will directly benefit all municipalities in Sergipe.

With these resources, projects such as the highways connecting Pirambu to Pacatuba; Japoatã to Propriá and Itabaiana (BR-235 junction) to Itaporanga D'Ajuda (BR-101 junction), as well as the highway connecting Estância to Abaís, among others, will be made possible. There are also plans for the construction of the Sergipe Cancer Hospital and the Comprehensive Support Center for People with Disabilities Hospital, the acquisition of equipment for High Complexity and Regional Hospitals, the construction of five vocational training centers (Education), the expansion and renovation of three vocational schools in Boquim, Itabaiana and Propriá, and the construction of a school unit in the Jardim neighborhood, in Nossa Senhora do Socorro.

According to Proinveste, Aracaju will receive important projects such as the widening of Euclides Figueiredo and João Rodrigues avenues, the urbanization of the Malvinas community in the Aeroporto neighborhood, the restoration of the road system in the Gov. Augusto Franco Administrative Center, and the first phase of the Linha Vermelha (Red Line), as part of the complementary projects for the Santa Maria Airport.

In the area of ​​Public Security, Proinveste will enable the acquisition of 120 vehicles and the equipping of the DNA and Toxicology Laboratories of the Institute of Forensic Analysis and Expertise; in addition to the construction and equipping of the new Institute of Legal Medicine (IML).

The Proinveste program also provides resources for the recovery, renovation, and improvement of the Califórnia Irrigated Perimeter in Canindé do São Francisco; another is the structuring and recovery of the Piauí Irrigated Perimeter in Lagarto; as well as the renovation and recovery of the Ribeira Irrigated Perimeter in Itabaiana.

With the project's approval, resources will be allocated for infrastructure recovery (completion), acquisition and installation of equipment and automation for the Jabiberi Irrigated Perimeter in Tobias Barreto; and the acquisition of machinery and equipment for Cohidro.

Plans also include the construction of markets in Lagarto and Itabaiana; the construction of industrial warehouses in municipalities such as Socorro, Estância, Itabaiana, and São Cristóvão; access roads and infrastructure in the industrial parks of Itaporanga, Lagarto, Aracaju, and Simão Dias; and resources for infrastructure in Nossa Senhora do Socorro.
