Anastasia will coordinate Aécio's program.
The announcement regarding the role of the governor of Minas Gerais, Antonio Anastasia, in the campaign was made by the presidential candidate himself; "Anastasia has been coordinating my government programs since my first election as governor," he said.
Minas 247 - As soon as he leaves the government of Minas Gerais in April of this year, Governor Antonio Anastasia will have a new mission: to coordinate the government program of Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG). The announcement was made by the presidential candidate himself.
"Since my first election as governor, Anastasia has coordinated my government programs. Now, he will expand his contacts, which he has never ceased to have, with national productive sectors, in order to gather suggestions that reach us from the most diverse parts of the country and condense them into a government project," Aécio told journalist Jorge Bastos Moreno.
This work will be concentrated between the months of April and June. After that, Anastasia should dedicate herself to her own campaign for the Federal Senate.
Yesterday, Aécio posted a message on his Facebook page praising Anastasia's work:
Yesterday, I accompanied Governor Antonio Anastasia on visits to the construction sites of highways MG-424 and LMG-800, near Tancredo Neves International Airport in Confins (MG). During this visit, I was able to observe an important contrast: the planning and efficiency of the state government – with projects that are on schedule and within budget – and the inefficiency and delays of projects under the responsibility of the federal government.
The expansion of the passenger terminal at Confins Airport is a clear example of this. The press shows that, after more than two years of construction, the terminal, which should have already been completed, is only 38% finished. Similar situations occur throughout the country. Aetius Neves
