Amorim says the state lost R$ 51 million from the Cancer Hospital.
Senator and pre-candidate for governor from the PSC party says that the state did not use the resources and therefore the federal government recovered the R$ 18 million from the 2012 amendment and the R$ 33 million from the 2013 amendment; the government has not yet commented on the matter; recently, Governor Jackson Barreto met with Health Minister Alexandre Padilha, from whom he received assurances that all the necessary funds for the construction of the Cancer Hospital in Sergipe would be released.
Sergipe 247 - Senator Eduardo Amorim, pre-candidate for governor for the PSC party, claims that the state government lost the funds from amendments to the General Budget of the Union earmarked for the Cancer Hospital. According to him, the state did not use the funds, and therefore the Union recovered the R$ 18 million from the 2012 amendment and the R$ 33 million from the 2013 amendment.
The state government has not yet commented on the matter. The most recent information on the subject indicated that Health Minister Alexandre Padilha had guaranteed all the necessary funds for the construction of the Cancer Hospital in Sergipe.
