I'm sure that our election is against ourselves, to show the population what has been done. The numbers we have are different, but in any case it is clear that we have taken the lead."

The municipal manager referred to the survey published by the newspaper Primeira Página, in which he appeared with 21% of voting intentions, behind the former mayor and also candidate Raul Filho (PR). He also referred to the Ibope survey, published this Monday (22) by TV Anhanguera, which showed Amastha in the lead with 28% and also to the survey published by the newspaper O Girassol, which also places the mayor in first place with 34%.
“Imagine how much I’ve grown in these last few days. I’m very pleased. Primeira Página had 21%, yesterday Ibope had 28%, and today Girassol has 34%. Today was the day of our big turnaround,” the mayor assessed during an interview with T1 Notícias. “I’m not going to discuss poll data. I’m sure our election is against ourselves, to show the population what has been done. The numbers we have are different, but in any case, it’s clear that we’ve taken the lead,” he added.
In the latest poll, conducted by Ibope, behind Amastha, with 28%, is former mayor Raul Filho (PR), with 27%, and Cláudia Lelis (PV), with 10% (read more here).
