Ally César Maia gives Aécio a score of 5: 'didn't inspire enthusiasm'

A PSDB ally in previous elections, a city councilor and former mayor of Rio de Janeiro from the DEM party says that the Minas Gerais senator's TV program used "obvious phrases" and repeated a "cliché" that "has been used and abused for years": "A 5 out of 10 for the advertising executive and an even lower one for the team that did the political revision of the script"; the only positive point, in his view, was the fact that the program dealt "without demagoguery, with the good legacy of FHC" (Fernando Henrique Cardoso).

Ally César Maia gives Aécio a score of 5: 'didn't inspire enthusiasm'

247 – According to city councilman and former mayor of Rio, Cesar Maia (DEM), the TV program of the PSDB presidential pre-candidate, Aécio Neves, "did not generate enthusiasm." In past elections, the parties were allies.

Maia said on his blog this Monday that the advertisement created to promote Aécio failed to attract poorer voters and criticized the commercial's lack of originality.

According to him, Aécio's program used "obvious phrases" and repeated a "cliché" that "has been used and abused for years." "Candidate in the car, at the window, same shot, same dynamics. This leads the voter/viewer to think it's all the same."

Result: "A 5 out of 10 for the advertising executive and an even lower one for the team that did the political revision of the script." The only positive point, in his view, was the fact that the program dealt "without demagoguery, with FHC's good legacy."
