Alckmin on Bolsonaro: "I think it's a setback. You don't create jobs with bullets."
In Salvador, where he received the title of honorary citizen, Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB) changed his style to try to survive as a presidential candidate; with only 5% of the voting intentions in Bahia, he said that Bolsonaro's candidacy is a setback because employment and health problems are not solved with bullets; Alckmin also criticized Ciro Gomes, who accused the São Paulo government of having made a deal with the PCC (First Command of the Capital).
Bahia 247 – In Salvador, where he received the title of Bahian citizen this Thursday (7) at the Legislative Assembly of Bahia (AL-BA), the pre-candidate for president of the Republic, Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB), changed his style in a desperate attempt to survive as an alternative name for 2018 and went on the attack.
Rightly so, the targets of his new harsh speech were presidential candidates Jair Bolsonaro and Ciro Gomes. Regarding federal deputy Alckmin, he stated that Bolsonaro is a "crab that walks backward." "I think it's a setback. What walks backward is a crab. Brazil wants to move forward. You won't create jobs with bullets. You'll do it with competitiveness, confidence, and investment. You won't solve the health problem with bullets. I'm a doctor and I have a duty to improve health. You won't improve the quality of education with bullets. It's a totally backward thing."
Regarding Ciro, the former governor of São Paulo called a statement by former minister Ciro Gomes "ridiculous." On the Roda Viva program, the PDT member stated that the São Paulo government, which was led by Alckmin, made a deal with the PCC, a criminal faction from São Paulo.
Geraldo Alckmin appears in the polls in Bahia with only 5% of voting intentions, according to a survey by the Paraná Pesquisas institute released last week.
