This year, from August 8th to 12th, the second edition of the event will take place online. It's free and features the participation of 50 experts in the field. These experts will discuss topics related to entrepreneurship, finance, communication, technology, and coaching through lectures, interviews, and mini-courses.

“Entrepreneurship has been growing significantly in the country, even more so during a time of crisis. Entrepreneurs need to be prepared to deal with different issues, ranging from social media to finance. The 2016 Brazil Entrepreneurship event was planned precisely to provide a complete overview of the sector, offering a great opportunity to learn and experience firsthand the work of those who have already created and consolidated their own businesses,” explains Cláudio Brito, CEO of Acelera Startups.

This year's edition will feature a module focused on social businesses, projects that combine entrepreneurship with a positive impact on the community. Activities on this theme will be made available free of charge by Acelera Startups even after the event.

Last year, the Brazil Entrepreneurship event reached 13 people from 47 different countries. This year, the goal is to have approximately 20 registered participants. To achieve this, the event will feature talks by Rosalinda Picard (Empatica), Michel Smit (Energy Floors), and Christian Barbosa (Angel Investor).

“Promoting this content free of charge was our way of helping everyone who wants to undertake a business following the principles of social business defined by Muhammad Yunus, a great reference in the sector. While fostering entrepreneurship, we also open a door to generate a real impact on society,” concludes Cláudio.
