Aécio is coming to Pernambuco on Saturday with the blessings of the PSB.

With the PSB's support for the PSDB consolidated in the second round of the presidential elections, candidate Aécio Neves is expected to visit Pernambuco this Saturday (11); the visit is a way of thanking the Pernambuco PSB for its support and also that of former first lady Renata Campos, widow of former governor Eduardo Campos, who defended the support for the tucano after the defeat of former candidate Marina Silva (PSB); in addition, Pernambuco was the only state in the Northeast where President and candidate for re-election Dilma Rousseff lost the presidential race.

Pernambuco 247 - With the PSB's support for the PSDB consolidated in the second round of the presidential elections, candidate Aécio Neves is expected to visit Pernambuco this Saturday (11). The visit is a way of thanking the Pernambuco PSB for its support and also that of former first lady Renata Campos, widow of former governor Eduardo Campos, who defended the support for the tucano after the defeat of former candidate Marina Silva (PSB). In addition, Pernambuco was the only state in the Northeast where President and candidate for re-election Dilma Rousseff lost the presidential race.

Although the details are not yet finalized, the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) wants the schedule to be agreed upon with the state's socialist leadership, including the governor-elect Paulo Câmara – who is being considered as one of the coordinators of the PSDB candidate's campaign in the state – the senator-elect Fernando Bezerra Coelho, and the mayor of Recife, Geraldo Julio. Câmara and FBC were elected with a surprising number of votes.

While Câmara was elected with the highest proportional vote in the country, FBC managed to reverse the situation in the final stretch of the campaign and be elected with 1,2 million votes over his opponent João Paulo (PT). Meanwhile, Geraldo Julio's administration is approved by the majority of the capital's population, and he could be elected one of the national leaders of the PSB next week.

With these heavyweight candidates, the PSDB hopes to boost Aécio's vote count, who in the first round received only 6% of the votes from Pernambuco voters.
