Aécio criticizes Marina: "It's not enough to just remove the PT"
The PSDB presidential candidate argues that it is necessary to "have a political project that offers security to Brazil"; in yesterday's electoral program, the PSDB candidate said that Marina Silva, from the PSB, "is also a person with good intentions. But we have already seen that, to change everything that is wrong, much more than that is needed"; according to him, "without experience and without political strength, the system swallows good intentions"; with this speech, Aécio Neves also criticized the Mainardi-FHC doctrine, which advocates anything goes against the PT.
247 - The PSDB presidential candidate, Aécio Neves, launched an attack against his PSB opponent, Marina Silva, who has risen in the polls and is now tied with President Dilma Rousseff (PT), leaving the PSDB candidate in third place in the electoral race. According to Aécio, "it's not enough to just remove the PT" from power, "it's necessary to have a political project that offers security to Brazil."
On the TV program broadcast this Saturday, Aécio stated: "I respect Marina. She is also a person with good intentions. But we have already seen that, to change everything that is wrong, much more than that is needed." According to him, "without experience, without political strength, the system swallows good intentions overnight." For the politician, "without political strength, change doesn't happen."
In his speech, the presidential candidate also criticizes the doctrine preached by Diogo Mainardi, former Veja editor and Globonews commentator, and former president Fernando Henrique Cardoso (PSDB), his own campaign manager. Both advocate a "no-holds-barred" approach to removing the PT from power. Mainardi, for example, said he will defend Marina until she is elected. "I will start rooting against her the day after the inauguration," he said.
