ACM promises 'immediate assistance' to housing complexes in the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program.

Bahia 247 - Mayor ACM Neto participated this Wednesday (8) in the contract signing ceremony for 999 families from Salvador who will be awarded properties in the Ceasa I and II complexes, from the 'Minha Casa, Minha Vida' program, on Estrada do Bom Sucesso, on the CIA-Aeroporto connection.

Of the total, 700 beneficiaries were registered by the city hall through Sindec. ACM Neto stated that one of his "main concerns" is to provide infrastructure to the families in the housing complexes, "so that they can live comfortably in their new homes."

"Following the handover of the keys, which should happen next week, we will immediately begin a dialogue with the community to list the necessary services, with transportation, lighting, and paving being addressed immediately. Unlike previous administrations, we will not leave people isolated in these housing complexes," said the mayor.

Balance

With today's deliveries, the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program in Salvador has delivered a total of 4.299 housing units in 2016 alone. The delivery of another 888 units is planned for this year, distributed across the Ceasa III, IV, and V housing complexes. Since 2013, 8.131 homes have already been secured.

The program serves individuals with a family income of up to R$ 1.600, selected through a public call for applications, or people living in at-risk situations or affected by disasters.
