ACM Neto sends to the Chamber a budget forecast of R$ 7,3 billion for 2018.

Mayor ACM Neto (DEM) sent the Annual Budget Bill (PLOA) to the City Council this Friday, with an estimated budget of R$ 7,3 billion for the 2018 fiscal year, representing a 9% increase compared to 2017; the areas of Health, Education and Social Assistance account for 42% of the total resources; in the message, the Democrat emphasizes that, "despite the uncertain scenario in the country since 2014, with the political, economic and fiscal crises, the city hall has been successful in facing the difficulties with careful planning and observance of the principles of fiscal responsibility."

Bahia 247 - Mayor ACM Neto (DEM) sent the Annual Budget Bill (PLOA) to the City Council this Friday (29), with an estimated budget of R$ 7,3 billion for the fiscal year 2018, which represents a 9% increase compared to 2017. The areas of Health, Education and Social Assistance account for 42% of the total resources.

In the message, the Democrat emphasizes that, "despite the uncertain scenario in the country since 2014, with the political, economic, and fiscal crises, the city government has been successful in facing the difficulties with careful planning and adherence to the principles of fiscal responsibility."

"Excellence in public management and a commitment to fiscal balance and efficiency" are cited as the "foundations of the Democrat's administration," according to himself, with investments in modernizing processes, streamlining, optimizing and controlling spending, and balancing public accounts.

"This budget proposal reflects our commitment to firmly persist in implementing these guidelines and our purpose to continue, with the support of this House, the process of restoring the greatness of our city, for the benefit of improving the living conditions of our population," the mayor states in the message.
