In the style of the UDR, Caiado promises to take down Marina and Campos.

Classified as a "historical enemy of rural workers and indigenous communities" by the former Minister of the Environment, the leader of the DEM party promises to speak out harshly from the Chamber's podium this Wednesday, the 9th; Governor Eduardo Campos, of the PSB party, who supported the statements of the leader of the Rede Sustentabilidade party by dismissing the possibility of an alliance that had long been being forged with the ruralist in Goiás, is also expected to be targeted; Ronaldo Caiado promises to unleash a tirade against someone he was praising just yesterday.

Goiás247 - The leader of the DEM in the Chamber, Ronaldo Caiado (GO), promises to take the floor in the coming hours to give a harsh response to Marina Silva and Eduardo Campos. With a strong statement, the leader of the Rede Solidariedade ruled out on Wednesday (7) any chance of tolerating Caiado in the alliance with Eduardo Campos' PSB. The governor of Pernambuco, in turn, backed the former senator by stating that the ruralist is no longer part of his plans after the sailors' joining.

In an interview with the newspaper O Globo, Marina was harsh: “In the Rede [political party] culture, there is no place for a historical enemy of rural workers, indigenous communities, and for those who orchestrated the defeat of the Forest Code.” And she suggested that Caiado resign: “The partners also have the right to say, ‘look, in this new configuration that has been established, with the arrival of this eco-zealot Marina, excuse me, I'm leaving’”.

Eduardo Campos, in turn, told CBN that there is no possibility of an alliance with Caiado in the context of the composition with the sailors' network. Read more here.

In a note on the Época magazine website, journalist Felipe Patury states:

“The leader of the DEM party and the rural caucus in the Chamber of Deputies, Congressman Ronaldo Caiado (GO), is irritated by the statements of former Senator Marina Silva and the governor of Pernambuco, Eduardo Campos, who also heads the PSB party. Campos and Caiado were advancing in an arrangement for the PSB and DEM to be together in next year's elections in Goiás. Since Saturday, when Marina joined the PSB, the negotiation has lost momentum. In interviews, both Marina and Campos have said that the PSB's alliance with the DEM in Goiás will be reevaluated. Caiado promises to make a strong speech in a few minutes.”
