247 - First Lady Jaja Lula da Silva released a message on her X account, formerly Twitter, on Friday (8) in commemoration of International Women's Day, highlighting the political importance of cultivating affection between women to advance rights and achievements.
“Cultivating affection nourishes us, giving us strength to work for financial autonomy, for a policy of care, for equal rights, for equal pay, and for female representation in decision-making and power spaces, especially for an end to misogyny,” says the First Lady. >>> 8M: Government to launch program to include women in the job market.
Janja will represent Brazil at the meetings of the 68th United Nations Commission on Women (UNCLOS), which will take place in New York. The trip is scheduled to begin tomorrow, with a return planned for the 16th. During her stay in New York, she will participate in the discussions and debates that permeate the meeting, which brings together women from around the world in support of promoting gender equality and women's empowerment.
