Agency Brazil - Brazilian Rayssa Leal won the title of the Street Skate World Championship this Sunday (5), which was held in Sharjah (United Arab Emirates). To secure the title, the 15-year-old from Maranhão scored 255,58 in the grand final, in which Gabriela Mazetto finished in 6th position and Pâmela Rosa in 8th.

After the victory, Rayssa posted a message on a social network in which she especially thanks physiotherapist Alison Leff Paz, who helped her treat a wrist pain caused by a fall she suffered in training last Friday (3): “What an incredible day! Hearing our anthem at the highest point of the podium was emotional. Nobody achieves anything alone. I am blessed to have the support of my family and my team, which only strengthens me in difficult times. And today my special thanks go to my physiotherapist, who developed an intensive treatment plan that made me better day after day, making me climb each step to the top. Alisson, thank you very much.”

In the men's competition, the highest-placed Brazilian was Kelvin Hoefler. The Olympic medalist finished in 4th position, behind Frenchman Aurelian Giraud, who came in first, Portuguese Gustavo Ribeiro, who came in second, and Japanese Ginwoo Onodera, who came in third.
