Forum - Pelé, the King of Football, 81, continues his fight against cancer. The former player left the Albert Einstein Hospital, in São Paulo, this Thursday (20), where he underwent a new chemotherapy session. His condition is stable, according to doctors, but the situation is worrying.

According to information released by ESPN Brazil's website, "Pelé has a tumor in his intestine, one in his liver, and the beginning of one in his lung. What worries doctors most is the liver tumor, as it cannot be removed surgically. Due to his fragile condition, he continues to be closely monitored and is undergoing chemotherapy to prevent the tumors from spreading throughout his body," the report stated.

Doctors Fabio Nasri (geriatrician and endocrinologist), Rene Gansl (oncologist), and Miguel Cendoroglo Neto (Medical and Hospital Services Superintendent Director) from Albert Einstein Hospital released a statement before Pelé left the hospital.
