247 - Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal club announced on Monday (27) the termination of Neymar's contract, paving the way for the player's return to Brazilian football.
After weeks of negotiations between Neymar's representatives and the Saudi club, the Saudi League's involvement in the talks helped accelerate the process. As reported by GEThe striker, who was still owed around US$65 million (approximately R$385 million), waived a portion of that amount to leave Al-Hilal.
Now, the star player is expected to travel to Brazil in the coming days and head to the Baixada Santista region, where he is expected to sign a five-month contract with Santos, scheduled to end in June. If the agreement is confirmed, the expectation is that Neymar will wear the number 10 jersey for Santos.
