Neymar renews contract with Santos.

In the next transfer window, the Santos striker will once again have the freedom to decide his future on the field.

247 - Player Neymar, 33 years old, announced this Tuesday (24) the renewal of his contract with Santos. The player's new contract lasts until the end of this year, with the possibility of being extended until the 2026 World Cup. In the next transfer window, the Peixe striker will again have the freedom to decide his future on the field.

Besides Santos, Neymar played for Barcelona (2013-2017). He then transferred to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He played for the French team from 2017 to 2023. After that, the player went to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. He returned to Santos at the beginning of this year (2025). 

At Barça, Neymar won titles such as the FIFA Club World Cup (2015), Champions League, Copa del Rey, and La Liga. At PSG, he won more than 10 titles, including the French Championship, French Cup, and French Super Cup. During his time at Al-Hilal, the player won the Saudi Championship (2023–24).

For the Brazilian national team, Neymar has won the Confederations Cup (2013) and the Olympics (2016). He has played in three World Cups - 2014, 2018 and 2022. 

The player's current club, Santos, is in 15th place in the Brazilian Championship. Teams 17th through 20th are in the relegation zone. Teams 7th through 12th qualify for the Copa Sudamericana, and teams 1st through 6th qualify for the Copa Libertadores. 

At the beginning of the year, Santos was eliminated by CRB in the third round of the Copa do Brasil. The team is not competing in the Copa Sudamericana or the Copa Libertadores. Among the main titles in its history are 2 Club World Cups, 3 Copa Libertadores, 1 Copa do Brasil, and 8 Brazilian Championships.
