Lula celebrates Corinthians' title in the São Paulo state championship: "It's us!"

247 - During his state visit to Vietnam, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) celebrated Corinthians' victory in the Campeonato Paulista. The team secured the title by drawing 0-0 with Palmeiras at Neo Química Arena on Thursday night (28). As they won the first leg of the final 1-0, the draw was enough to secure the championship after a six-year wait.
"Go Corinthians! I can finally say to the fans: 'It's us!' 'It's us' who are now the São Paulo state champions. Happiness for Corinthians and for Corinthians fans all over Brazil. After much suffering, we are finally champions again," Lula stated in a video released on social media.
With the 2025 Paulista Championship title, Corinthians consolidates itself as the greatest champion in the history of the competition, with 31 titles.
