LaLiga is investigating a new case of racism against Vini Jr.

A Brazilian woman filmed a child uttering a racist insult against the striker, calling him "mono," a derogatory term in Spanish meaning "monkey."

However, the situation took an even more tense turn when the child's mother, realizing she was being filmed, assaulted Anna Anjos in an attempt to stop the video recording. Despite the hostile reaction, the Brazilian persisted and later shared the images on social media, triggering a wave of indignation and debates about racism in football.

In light of the public reaction, LaLiga announced, according to the newspaper. The Globewho is investigating what happened.
