Court in Santo André orders search for former celebrity soccer star

In recent days, the court in Santo André published an official document requesting a search for the former player.

247 - Former soccer player Marcelinho Carioca is wanted by São Paulo police following a legal dispute. He has been wanted for over a year and a half for a debt incurred with a hospital in São Paulo. At the time, the soccer star was seeking treatment for his mother, who was ill.

De agreement cAccording to Istoé magazine, the lawsuit refers to an accusation made by the former lawyer of Ronan Maria Pinto, the former president of the company that managed Santo André for six years. The woman claims that Marcelinho failed to pay for his mother's hospitalization at the Sírio Libanês hospital, where she died of cancer in 2009, an amount estimated at R$ 123.

In recent days, the Santo André court issued an official request for the search of the former player, who is currently a fugitive. The first address where authorities tried to locate Marcelinho was the Sports Secretariat of Itaquaquecetuba or the office of the local mayor.

Unsuccessfully, in another petition filed on February 10th, it was determined that the former athlete should be sought at the address of Rádio Top FM, in Guarulhos, where he participated in a sports program.

Claudia Ferreira claims to be a former assistant to Ronan Maria Pinto, resolving personal issues and assisting the businessman's clients, including Marcelinho Carioca. The former player defended Santo André at the end of his career, between 2007 and 2009.
