Jorge Jesus, former Flamengo coach, returns to Saudi Arabia as manager of Al-Nassr.

(Reuters) - Al-Nassr announced Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus on Monday, two months after he left Saudi Pro-League rivals Al-Hilal.

The 70-year-old coach won the domestic treble in his second spell at Al-Hilal of Riyadh in the 2023-2024 season, but left the club in May after losing the elite semi-finals of the Asian Football Confederation Champions League to Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia.

"It's official that Mr. Jorge Jesus is the new coach of Al-Nassr," the Saudi club posted on X.

Former Copa Libertadores champion with FlamengoJorge Jesus will replace Italian Stefano Pioli and has signed a one-year contract with Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr, nine-time Saudi champions, have extended the contract of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, until 2027.
