Gleisi mourns the death of Isabel Salgado, "a woman of talent, courage and firm convictions"
Several politicians reacted on social media to the death of the former athlete, who was part of Lula's government transition team in the area of sports.
247 - The president of the PT party, federal deputy Gleisi Hoffmann (PT), lamented the death of former volleyball player Isabel Salgado this Wednesday (16).
Isabel is the mother of Pedro, Maria Clara, and Carol Solberg, and was announced last Monday as a member of the Lula (PT) government's transition team in the area of sports.
"It is with great sadness that we lost Isabel do Vôlei today. A woman of talent, courage, and firm convictions. She contributed directly to the victory of democracy and was part of the sports group in the Transition Office. Our condolences to her family and to all who admire her," wrote Gleisi.
