(Reuters)- Fluminense continued their fairytale run in the Club World Cup, securing a 2-1 victory over Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia on Friday in Orlando, Florida, to guarantee a place in the semifinals of the competition.

Martinelli opened the scoring in the first half with a beautiful shot, before Al-Hilal responded after the break when Brazilian Marcus Leonardo found the net.

But Fluminense didn't give up and regained the lead 25 minutes into the second half with a goal from Hércules, securing a memorable victory over Al-Hilal in the first ever match between the two clubs.

The Brazilian team, which entered the tournament as one of the biggest underdogs, will now face the winner of the other quarter-final match this Friday, between Palmeiras and Chelsea.
