247 - Right-back Daniel Alves denied accusation of sexual harassment made by a woman, which led to the opening of an investigation by the Catalan police. The case allegedly took place at the Suton nightclub in Barcelona, Spain, in the early hours of last Friday (30).
During an appearance on the program Y Ahora Sonsoles (TV Antena 3), Alves confirmed that he was at the same nightclub as the woman who accuses him, and denied touching her without permission.
"How could I do that to a woman? For God's sake," said Alves, who asked them to stop the accusation. "It's hurting me and my whole family because they know who I am."
The woman reported that Alves touched her without permission and then put his hand inside her underwear. After the incident, the frightened victim reportedly alerted her friends, who then contacted the nightclub's security guards.
