Referee punches, pulls out a gun and threatens to kill players during a soccer match (video)

247 - A referee pulled out a revolver and pointed it at players during a futsal match on Cassino Beach, in Rio Grande, in the south of the state, last Wednesday (26). The incident, broadcast live on social media, was reported to the Civil Police. See the video below.

Delegate Lígia Marques Furlanetto, director of the Regional Police Station of Rio Grande, stated that the referee is a military police officer, whose name was not released.

"There is a detailed report filed to investigate the crime of bodily harm. I confirm that it was a military police officer who allegedly committed the assault. He filed a report of threats against the victim of bodily harm," he stated.

On social media, the É Us Guri team says that two athletes were hit with rifle butts. One of them received three stitches to the head, while the other fainted while being taken to a health unit.

In the images, it is possible to see one of the team's athletes, who was reportedly ejected, complaining to the referee from outside the court. A witness interviewed by [the source] G1 He says the referee was offended by the player.

The Military Police have not yet commented.
