"Tacla Duran has the right to be heard, and Brazil has the right to know what he wants to say," says Kakay.

"I don't want to make accusations, but I have to demand that these issues be cleared up and investigated," says the criminal lawyer regarding Tacla's allegations against Moro and Dallagnol.

World Opera - Journalist and founder of Opera Mundi, Breno Altman, welcomes lawyer and jurist Antônio Carlos de Almeida Castro, also known as Kakay, to the 20 MINUTES program this Wednesday (April 12th) to discuss the Tacla Duran case and the possibility of Senator and former Minister of Justice Sérgio Moro and Congressman and former prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol being arrested.

In one of his last decisions before retiring from the Supreme Federal Court, Justice Ricardo Lewandowski decided to keep the investigation into the alleged extortion attempt against lawyer Rodrigo Tacla Duran at the highest court. The case reached the court after Moro and Dallagnol were mentioned as possible suspects in this alleged crime. With Lewandowski retired, this case will be handled by his successor, who must be nominated by President Lula and approved by the Senate. The favorite for the position is criminal lawyer Cristiano Zanin Martins, who defended the Workers' Party leader in the Lava Jato corruption scandal.

When questioned by Altman about the possible nomination of Zanin to the Supreme Federal Court (STF), taking on the Tacla Duran case, Kakay believes there are no ethical or suspicious issues in the relationship.
