"PIG is returning in full force to attack Lula," says Eduardo Guimarães.
The editor of the Blog da Cidadania says that the "coup-mongering press" has already reorganized.
247 - Journalist Eduardo Guimarães, editor of Blog da Cidadania, participated this Wednesday (12) in the Bom Dia 247 program and commented on the Datafolha survey that showed President Lula's approval rating. According to the survey, 52% of Brazilians trust Lula and his rating is likely to improve in the coming months. "It's a solid approval rating and it will improve," he says.
However, Eduardo Guimarães warned that the so-called "PIG" (Party of the Coup-Mongering Press) is returning in full force to attack Lula. According to the journalist, the Brazilian commercial media is not talking about Lula's trip to China, is not defending a genuine development project and, on the contrary, defends the high interest rates of the Central Bank.
The journalist also highlighted the importance of Lula's trip to China and stressed that the media is not giving due attention to this geopolitical meeting. Eduardo Guimarães also reinforced the need to remain vigilant against media manipulation and not be swayed by hate speech and division. "We need to maintain resistance and not let the commercial media manipulate us," he says. Watch:
