247 - In a recent interview with TV 247, cartoonist and commentator Carlos Latuff addressed the situation in Palestine in depth and offered an incisive analysis of the reaction of the press and political leaders to President Lula's words. He pointed out the lack of balance in media coverage and the absence of dissenting voices on the conflict.

Latuff emphasized the importance of listening to different perspectives and demystifying the narrative that dehumanizes Palestinians, justifying Israeli violence. He highlighted the affinity between Bolsonarism and Zionism, pointing to a common agenda between the governments of Bolsonaro and Netanyahu.

Furthermore, Latuff criticized the accusations of antisemitism directed at Lula and contextualized the history of oppression in the region, from British colonization to recent conflicts. His analyses contributed to an enlightening debate about the complexity of the conflict and the need for a humanitarian and just approach.

The commentator emphasized the urgency of a peaceful solution and the responsibility of world leaders in the face of the genocide in Gaza. His interventions reflected not only a deep understanding of the issue, but also a commitment to justice and human dignity. Watch:
