247 - In an interview with journalist Leonardo Attuch, editor of TV 247, historian Fernando Horta celebrated the decisions made by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the military area. "Lula is bringing the armed forces into line and has made it clear that he is in command," he said. "Minister José Múcio was also clearly brought into line," he added.
Horta said he was confident that Lula was defusing the military's "bomb" and also spoke about the issue of communication. "There's a miscalculation by the government in its relationship with Globo. It seems they don't trust the strength of their own communication," he pointed out. "It's necessary to create a communication protocol to defend the president," he stated.
