247 - The jurist Alfredo Attié assessed, this Wednesday (10), that the vote of minister Luiz Fux, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), in the trial of core 1 of the coup plot, is an attempt to "sabotage" the trial.

In his vote, Fux stated that it is not the role of the Supreme Court to "make a political judgment," referred to it as a "court of exception," and defended a "technical" role for the Court's justices.

According to Attié, Fux delivered an "absurd" thesis. "Fux compromised the integrity of a serious and dignified trial by the Supreme Court, which, like all institutions, was the victim of a confessed coup attempt, the proof of which goes far beyond terabytes and is public knowledge," he stated to 247.
