"It's wrong in form, but right in content," says Mario Vitor Santos about Haddad's public message to the PT.

Criticized by factions within the PT (Workers' Party), the minister demanded recognition for his work leading the Finance Ministry in 2023. 'His work could be better recognized,' says the journalist.

247 - Journalist and political analyst Mario Vitor Santos, during his appearance on TV 247, pointed out that the recent statement by Finance Minister Fernando Haddad (PT) regarding the lack of recognition from his party for the work done in the area of economics is true.

"In my view, his work could be better recognized within the PT leadership; it was immense work, but I believe he's overdoing it a bit due to mental and personal fatigue," Santos stated.

While acknowledging the importance of Haddad's achievements in his first year, the political analyst still criticizes the way the minister expressed his demands, considering it misguided and exaggerated.

“The [minister] is right in content, but wrong in form, in my view. He shouldn't have put himself in that position; in fact, it's a kind of habit, both of his critics and of himself, regarding this type of approach. It's not the first time this has happened; perhaps it's one of the most radical ways it's ever been taken, but the minister erred in expressing it that way,” the analyst concluded.
