247 - The president of the Workers' Cause Party, Rui Costa Pimenta, stated in an interview with journalist Leonardo Attuch, editor of TV 247, that there is no longer a political climate for a coup in Brazil and added that President Lula's cabinet has everything, but no workers. "The government is made up of bureaucrats, petty-bourgeois intellectuals, and a few bourgeois," he stated.

In the interview, he also said that Rede Globo's honeymoon with the PT is tied to its economic interests. "This isn't a marriage, it's an affair," he pointed out. "The right wing will wait for the opportunity to attack Lula," he added. According to him, the protests in the barracks will be overcome by exhaustion.

Rui also criticized ministers who used gender-neutral pronouns, such as 'todes', in their inaugurations. "The use of gender-neutral language is an own goal by the Lula government. This only serves to arm the opponent," he said.

At the heart of the interview, he stated that anti-Bolsonarism represents an amnesty for all the crimes committed before him. "Anti-Bolsonarism is fool's gold. We are granting amnesty to Michel Temer," he pointed out. "Persecuting Bolsonarism could obscure the bridge to the future," he concluded. Rui also said that it is necessary to defend app-based workers.
