247 - Social activist André Constantine strongly criticized the Brazilian left during an interview with... TV 247, citing the lack of initiative on the part of leaders from various sectors in calling for demonstrations against what he called the "Holocaust" perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
"The Palestinian people are abandoned, fighting alone. The world watches from the sidelines as the Palestinian holocaust unfolds without lifting a finger," Constantine criticized in the interview.
He stated that the Zionist lobby managed to infiltrate the Brazilian left, demobilizing the Palestinian cause. "The Brazilian left bowed down and bent its knees before the Zionist lobby. The pro-Palestine rallies were all empty. The political, academic, and artistic classes remain silent. Those who remain silent in the face of the Holocaust become accomplices," he said.
Constantine also strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who leads a far-right government. "The intentions of that vermin Netanyahu become clear when his main targets are children," he said.
Israel is waging a genocidal war in the besieged Gaza Strip since October 7th of last year, following a surprise operation by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas against the occupying regime.
