Startup Report Brazil 2024According to a study produced by Sebrae Startups, the proportion of women among founders of startups registered or served by the platform increased from 8,65% in 2023 to 30,18% in 2024. According to the publication, the growth reflects structured actions aimed at training, supporting, and connecting women entrepreneurs in different regions of the country. “With training programs, support networks, mentoring, and connection initiatives in all regions of Brazil, we are contributing to reducing historical barriers that kept women away from innovative entrepreneurship,” says Cristina Mieko, head of startups at Sebrae.
