247 - Women's prominence in the job market has gained prominence in strategic sectors, especially in technology and entrepreneurship. According to the Softex Observatory, women already represent 25% of professionals in the technology field, and initiatives focused on inclusion indicate that this percentage is likely to grow.

In entrepreneurship, the scenario is even more promising. According to the 2023/2024 Women's Entrepreneurship Report from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), one-third of expanding entrepreneurs are women. Furthermore, one in ten women is starting new businesses, while the ratio among men is one in eight. These numbers highlight the growing female presence in creating opportunities and occupying market spaces.

In startups, although the path to equality remains challenging, there are signs of change. Data from the Brazilian Association of Startups (ABStartups) reveals that 15,7% of these companies have women in leadership positions. Furthermore, initiatives to promote equality are gaining traction. The first Salary Transparency and Compensation Criteria Report, released by the government, showed that 39% of companies with more than one hundred employees are already adopting actions to promote women in leadership roles.

Diversity has proven to be a decisive factor in achieving concrete results. One example is Atomic Group, a startup accelerator and leading technological connection platform for owners of technology channels and startups. With over 60% of its team composed of women, the company reinforces the importance of an equal and innovative environment. “Our focus has always been on hiring the best talent, regardless of gender. What happened at Atomic Group was a natural consequence of a culture that values competence, innovation, and dedication. This reinforces that when opportunities are given equally, the female presence grows organically,” explains Filipe Bento, CEO of the company.

Research also indicates that companies led by women outperform the average. A study by the consulting firm McKinsey points out that businesses run by women grow, on average, 21% more than companies led solely by men. Rizzo Franchise corroborates this trend, showing that franchises managed by women generate approximately 32% more revenue. Similarly, Hubla, a digital product sales platform in Brazil, found that businesses led by women experienced three times greater growth in revenue and average order value.

Within Atomic Group itself, the reflection of this protagonism is evident. "They are at the forefront of key decisions, leading initiatives that strengthen our market position," says Bento. Even with significant progress, challenges still persist, mainly in access to leadership positions and in balancing personal and professional life. "We value equity, ensuring that everyone has a voice and space to develop," emphasizes the CEO.

Diversity is not just a social issue, but a competitive advantage. “Diverse teams generate more creative and effective solutions, directly impacting the products and services offered. When we bring together different perspectives, we avoid biases and are better able to meet market needs,” emphasizes Bento.

The example of companies that invest in equity serves as a model for a more balanced labor market, better prepared for the challenges of the future. "Diversity is not just a concept, it's a competitive advantage," concludes the CEO.
