Brazilians create a WhatsApp assistant to connect freelancers with clients.
The tool already covers more than 100 service categories, from electricians, plumbers, and house cleaners to dog walkers, painters, and photographers.
Beatriz Bevilaqua, 247 - Created by two entrepreneurs from Curitiba, Robozin is a free virtual assistant that works through WhatsApp and already has more than 1.500 service providers registered in Curitiba. The proposition is simple: to make life easier for those looking for a professional – and for those offering services – without needing to download any app.
The initiative is led by Anderson Nery and Luis Matias, co-founders of the startup. Anderson is an economist graduated from the Federal University of Paraná and has over 15 years of experience in the financial market, in addition to stints at startups such as Wuzu, which was sold to the Mercado Bitcoin holding company. With more than eight years in the innovation and technology sector, he decided to create Robozin after facing difficulties hiring professionals during a home renovation.
“I wasted a lot of time searching for and negotiating with service providers, in addition to dealing with inflated prices due to the fees charged by platforms. I realized that the process was exhausting for both those hiring and the professionals themselves. From this experience, the idea arose to create a faster and more effective solution for both sides,” says Anderson.
Robozin's artificial intelligence identifies needs and connects clients with available and qualified professionals, considering criteria such as geolocation, specialization, and availability. Anyone can send a text or audio message specifying the desired service type and date by calling (41) 98421-0888.
The tool already covers more than 100 service categories, from electricians, plumbers, and house cleaners to dog walkers, painters, and photographers. "Robozin is a smart alternative for those who want convenience. The mission is to save time and guarantee effective service for both consumers and freelancers," says the founder.
Extra income and integrated management
For professionals, Robozin offers an efficient and free digital showcase. Registration is simple, with document validation, and provides access to tools such as issuing receipts, quotes, payment via PIX (Brazil's instant payment system), and an integrated management center, all through WhatsApp.
There is also a feature geared towards condominiums, with automated sending of quotes for construction and maintenance work, making the job of building managers and administrators easier.
The business is monetized through subscription plans. Free professionals can answer calls, but subscribers receive exclusive leads and priority in service. "Today, more than two thousand professionals are already validated and active in Curitiba, with an average response rate of two minutes," Anderson points out.
The startup operates exclusively through WhatsApp, which sets it apart from traditional platforms. According to Anderson, the choice of the tool's popularity and speed is strategic, although it also represents a challenge.
“The dependence on WhatsApp is a risk, but also an opportunity. We are among the 500 companies in the world developing solutions within the platform. It is still new territory, even for WhatsApp itself,” he says.
From Curitiba to Brazil
Although the service is currently only active in the Curitiba Metropolitan Region, the startup is already receiving pre-registrations from professionals throughout Brazil. The idea is to expand to other cities as soon as it reaches the minimum number of validated professionals in each location.
Growth has been rapid: in a short time, Robozin is already approaching 20 users. The model also sheds light on the potential of grassroots entrepreneurship in Brazil. According to IBGE data, there are between 26 and 38 million self-employed professionals in the country, but less than 200 use digital platforms to attract clients.
According to Anderson, Brazilians have a naturally entrepreneurial profile and know how to make the most of the tools available to them. He cites as an example an electrician on the platform who started receiving the majority of calls after adding Robozin's number to his WhatsApp favorites, guaranteeing an immediate response.
“This type of adaptation shows how creative and resilient Brazilians are. Robozin emerged to empower these professionals and, at the same time, make life easier for those who need a fast, reliable, and affordable service,” he concludes.
