247 - A survey by the Vox Populi institute, released this Friday the 5th, indicates that, in addition to receiving a positive rating from only 13% of the Brazilian population, the interim president, Michel Temer, lacks support for the main measures advocated by his economic team.

The survey indicates that 86% of Brazilians are against increasing the work week from 44 hours to 60 hours – compared to only 8% who are in favor. Furthermore, 82% believe that changing the current rules and raising the retirement age "is a bad measure and will harm people."

According to the survey, 51% of respondents are against ending the monopoly in the pre-salt oil fields, a measure defended by Pedro Parente on his first day as president of Petrobras. They consider the measure "bad, that it will harm Brazil." For 17%, the measure "is necessary and will not harm Brazil." Another 31% did not respond.

The economic measures mentioned in the survey are a priority for the interim government and its discourse of fiscal adjustment and resumption of growth.
